Holly + Derek :: July 31, 2010

Just like it’s nice to be in my own backyard it’s also nice to go explore new venues. Sarah and I closed out July by documenting Holly and Derek’s day at the Harvard Faculty Club in Cambridge. What a beautiful day for a wedding. Often I get couples emailing me asking if I travel “off” cape – why yes I do! We had soo much fun running around the campus grabbing some fantastic shots before the ceremony. Thanks again for the referral Tommy and Catherine!

It’s always nice when you can play in your own backyard some days. Laura & Matt got married right around the corner from the studio at the Ridge Club in Sandwich. It was a great thing we decided to do most of the photos of them on the beach before the ceremony and avoided the rain after. Congratulations again!

Congratulations to Deb and Ted who recently tied the knot on Scraggy Neck on Cape Cod. The couple was married overlooking Buzzards Bay late in the afternoon in front of family and guests. The flowers and details where beyond amazing!! Thanks to Connie & Maria of the Perfect Plan for making my job easy.

Melanie & Matt had planned a family vacation here on Cape Cod when Melanie decided to surprise Matt with a photographer, an officiant and some sand, rocks and shells and beautiful Cape Cod weather of course. See it was there 10th wedding anniversary and her and Matt celebrated by renewing their vows……this time with their children as witnesses…..LOVE the vow renewals :-) !

Congratulations to Alexis & Mark who were recently married at the Beach Breeze Inn. It was great spending the day and evening with you and your family and friends. I love the toast Justin gave especially the part about Mark and his Jeep since I had just gotten my new Wrangler and had experienced first hand the “cult” I was now a member of….too funny. Such a beautiful day for a wedding in Falmouth. Great food, music, location, family and friends…..it doesn’t get much better than this. Thanks again and

What perfect weather for a wedding on the beach at the Red Jacket Resort on Cape Cod! Verissa and Joe where married by their friend Phil under bright blue skies. I loved the quotes from their yearbook when these two were just friends back in high school. Congrats again Joe and Verissa!

It’s true what some say…….”Love knows no boundaries, no distance, no fear.” This was the case for sure this past May as evidenced with the family and the love that surrounded these two souls.
