I recently took Amanda and Neal’s Cape Cod engagement photos in downtown Sandwich and the boardwalk. I’ve known Amanda for a few year’s….some of you may recognize her especially if you have ever been to the Ridge Club. It was great getting to know Neal who was a great sport in letting Amanda and I drag him all around town doing photos. I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding later this month at Bosari Gallery in Dennis.
So I started off the 2012 destination wedding season much the same way I ended 2011… with a Bahamas wedding in the tropics. I actually met Kristie and Mike at Stephanie and Michael’s Bahamas wedding last October. It was great to be back working with the talented Marva Munroe and the wonderful people of Freeport, Bahamas at the fabulous Pelican Bay Hotel at Lucaya. After some brief rain on friday, family and friends gathered on the beach under a full moon for a bonfire bbq rehearsal dinner complete with conch fritter appetizers and of course Sands beer.
We had perfect weather for their beach ceremony on Saturday. Stephanie’s dad Herb performed the ceremony before everyone left for the reception back at the Pelican Bay.

Although yesterday was only the first day of spring it is feeling a lot like summer around Cape Cod. Here is a look back at the summer of 2011 when this year’s Seniors has their portraits taken. Congratulations you will be graduating soon! I’m sure they would be able to tell you exactly how many more days of school they have left. Don’t forget to order your grad announcements and thank you cards or extra wallets!
We are currently looking for some spokesmodels to appear in this spring’s advertisements for next year’s class too. Know any? If you do and they mention your name when they apply you could be eligible for a movie and a burger at our new neighbor Oscar’s. How cool is that?
Are you excited? Kelli and I are! It’s that time of year again for college and non college hoops fans to get excited by picking their brackets joining office pools etc. I know, I know not that big in the Boston area but in the rest of the country it’s BIG! Kelli is an alum of the University of Kansas (a #2 seed this year) and gets out the old KU flag every spring to hang outside.
So typically every March we offer a Tom’s Bored promotion and I offer to shoot FREE sessions. Well this year we are going MAD with March Madness so we decided to not only offer FREE indoor sessions but we will also take 20% off your order! But you must book by the end of March!

Wow what a fantastic Cape Cod wedding show last weekend at the New Seabury Country Club. Amy and I got to meet with lots of couples, friends and families who braved sub-freezing temperatures to come see the latest fashions, flowers and tablescapes. Congratulations to Lauren T, Melissa M, and Samantha L who all just won engagement sessions from yesterdays bridal show! Lauren has already called us to set up her session!
